The Role SEN Teaching AssistantAs an SEN TA, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs. Support pupils to regulate emotions and manage challenging behaviour. Assist teachers with engaging, differentiated learning activities. Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils. Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence. Support pupils during lessons, transitions and social times. Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide consistent support. Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment. What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people is desirable. Experience with SEMH, behaviour, SEN or challenging behaviour is advantageous. Patient, resilient and confident managing challenging situations. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
