Learning Mentor Tower Hamlets Immediate Start This inclusive specialist SEND school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

Supporting pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional communication needs, the school is committed to creating an environment where every child feels safe, supported and able to achieve their full potential.

Learning Mentor What the School Offers Specialist SEND training and ongoing CPD Small class sizes with excellent staffing ratios A nurturing and collaborative school community Support from experienced teachers, therapists and pastoral staff Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity Learning Mentor What the Role Involves As a Learning Mentor, you'll provide tailored academic and pastoral support to pupils both in and out of the classroom.

Working closely with teachers and Teaching Assistants, you'll help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence while encouraging positive engagement with learning.

You'll also contribute to behaviour support strategies, intervention programmes and communication with families where appropriate.

Learning Mentor What the School is Looking For The ideal Learning Mentor will have experience working with children or young people with SEND, either within education or transferable settings such as youth work, residential care or community support.

The school is looking for a patient, empathetic and proactive Learning Mentor who can build meaningful relationships and support pupils to achieve both academically and personally.
