This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about preparing young people for life beyond school through meaningful, vocational and life-skills education.

What the School Offers:

What the Role Involves:

As an SEN Teacher, you'll deliver engaging ASDAN programmes alongside Functional Skills English and Maths, adapting learning to meet individual EHCP outcomes. You'll help pupils develop independence, communication, employability and everyday life skills through practical, engaging lessons that prepare them for further education, supported internships and future employment. Working closely with therapists, families and external agencies, you'll ensure every learner is supported to achieve their individual potential.

What the School is Looking For:

The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), although applications are welcomed from QTLS holders and experienced unqualified teachers with relevant specialist experience. Previous experience delivering ASDAN, Functional Skills or vocational qualifications would be highly advantageous, although teachers with a strong SEND background and a passion for Preparing for Adulthood are encouraged to apply. The school is looking for a creative, adaptable and relationship-focused teacher who believes success is measured by every learner's individual progress.
