A supportive secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Maths Support Assistant to work with pupils who need extra help in Maths. This is a fantastic role for someone with strong numerical skills and a real interest in education and young peoples learning.
As a Maths Support Assistant, youll work with pupils in Years 7 to 11 who may be falling behind or lacking confidence in Maths. Youll support pupils through small group sessions, one-to-one interventions, and in-class help alongside teachers. The school is known for its welcoming staff, strong values, and culture of mutual respect between teachers and students.
Key responsibilities:

  • Helping pupils to understand key Maths concepts and develop their problem-solving skills
  • Supporting learning during lessons and delivering small group sessions
  • Encouraging pupils to become independent learners and think critically
  • Providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCo to help monitor progress
