Are you an ambitious Experienced Maths Teacher looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking an inspirational Experienced Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Bushey, Hertfordshire, from January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Maths to lead a successful department of approximately 10 Maths teachers, shaping the direction of Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The successful Experienced Maths Teacher will play a key role in developing teaching, curriculum and student outcomes.
As an Experienced Maths Teacher, you will inspire staff and students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning while creating a culture of academic ambition and enjoyment of Mathematics.

What We're Looking For
The ideal Head of Maths will have:
- UK QTS or equivalent
- Strong experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Previous leadership experience, or experience as a second-in-department/lead practitioner ready to progress
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
- Excellent knowledge of curriculum and assessment
- High expectations of students and colleagues
- A passion for Mathematics and student achievement
