You'll adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes, promote communication and independence, and create a calm, predictable learning environment where pupils feel safe to learn and succeed. Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families, you'll ensure every child receives consistent, high-quality support both academically and socially.ASD Year 2 Teacher What the School is Looking For The ideal ASD Year 2 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism or working within a Resource Provision, specialist SEND school or inclusive mainstream setting would be highly advantageous, although exceptional mainstream teachers with a genuine interest in SEND are encouraged to apply.
