We are looking for an English PRU Teacher to join a well-established school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PRU Teacher or a strong mainstream English Teacher looking to transition into a specialist alternative provision setting.
As an English PRU Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons for pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, and academic support. You will work closely with the wider alternative provision team to build positive relationships, support engagement, and help pupils make meaningful academic and personal progress.
English PRU Teacher Requirements: Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and has strong English subject knowledge Has experience teaching English or supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs Demonstrates strong and consistent behaviour management Is resilient, patient, adaptable, and empathetic when working with pupils Can build positive and trusting relationships with young people Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
You'll be joining a supportive provision with an experienced leadership team, small class sizes, and a strong focus on behaviour support and pastoral care. This is the ideal role for an English PRU Teacher seeking to develop their experience within alternative provision while making a genuine difference to pupils' outcomes.
