About the Opportunity

We are working with a number of welcoming schools across Hillingdon who are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Your Role as a Learning Support Assistant

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social or emotional challenges.
  • Supporting pupils to access the curriculum by adapting and differentiating learning activities.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping pupils remain engaged and focused in lessons.
  • Working closely with teachers to prepare resources, set up activities, and support day-to-day classroom learning.
