What the Role Involves:

• Supporting MFL teachers across KS3 and KS4 to deliver engaging, communicative French and Spanish lessons
• Working with small groups of pupils to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages
• Providing additional language support to pupils who require targeted intervention ahead of GCSE examinations
• Tracking pupil progress and feeding back regularly to the class teacher and Head of MFL
• Building confident, enthusiastic relationships with pupils to develop their love of language and cultural awareness

What the School is Looking For:

• The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university in Modern Languages, French, Spanish, or a closely related discipline - a UK-awarded bachelor's degree is essential for this role.
• Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued.
• The school is seeking a fluent, culturally aware, and enthusiastic French & Spanish Teaching Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for language teaching.

Salary and Contract Info:

• £480 per week, pro rata to term time only
• Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
