Are you a Graduate EYFS Assistant with a strong understanding of child development and the importance of learning through play? A welcoming Early Years setting in Brent is looking for a Graduate EYFS Assistant who can do more than simply supervise children. The school needs someone who understands how purposeful adult interaction can extend play, develop language and move learning forward.

Full-time position starting September 2026

Contract running until July 2027

  • Support children across Nursery and Reception
  • Use play to develop communication, confidence and early learning skills
  • Lead purposeful conversations that encourage children to think, explore and problem-solve
  • Work closely with experienced Early Years teachers and practitioners
  • Excellent preparation for teacher training, Educational Psychology or Early Years careers

As a Graduate EYFS Assistant, you will actively engage with children throughout the school day. You will join their play, ask thoughtful questions, model language and help turn everyday activities into meaningful learning opportunities.
