The Role - As a SEND Pupil Support , you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND Support children with their academic, social and emotional development Assist pupils in accessing the wider curriculum and overcoming barriers to learning Work alongside class teachers and the SEND team to implement individual support strategies Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours Support children who may have additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or social and emotional needs Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Support Worker, Youth Worker or similar would be advantageous.
