Are you a recent English graduate from a top 20 UK University and are looking to start your career as an English Academic Mentor?
Ribbons & Reeves are looking for a dedicated English Academic Mentor to join a top-rated Secondary school who is eager to gain experience in the classroom in Barnet, London starting in September. You will work closely with experienced Teachers to provide excellent academic support and inspire students to take the next step in their educational journeys.
English Graduate | Your Role:

  • Supervise all academic abilities and small group activities to ensure Students focus
  • Work with experienced lead Teachers by assisting classroom preparation
  • Leading small group and 1:1 English sessions to boost reading, writing and analysis skills
  • Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in English Literature and Language
  • Helping to plan and deliver engaging intervention lessons

English Graduate | What were looking for:

  • Should hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree in English (or a closely related subject) from a top university.
  • Strong communication skills, a passion for English Education, and a genuine interest in working with young people are essential.
  • Previous Tutor experience
  • Available to start immediately
