This highly regarded specialist Autism school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking an inspiring ASD Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. What the Role Involves
As an ASD Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with Autism across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will use visual learning, structured routines and practical teaching strategies to develop mathematical understanding, independence and confidence while working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and therapists to achieve EHCP outcomes.
What the School is Looking For
The ideal ASD Maths Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Mathematics within either a specialist or mainstream setting. Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism would be advantageous, although the school welcomes applications from outstanding teachers looking to transition into specialist education. They are seeking a calm, organised and creative practitioner who understands the importance of routine, communication and building positive relationships.
