The Role
- Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 when teachers are absent
- Deliver pre-planned work and ensure pupils remain on task
- Manage behaviour calmly and consistently in line with school policy
- Maintain a purposeful classroom environment
- Support pupils with routines, focus and access to learning

Requirements
- Previous classroom experience is strongly preferred
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, HLTA, Youth Worker or Mentor would be suitable
- Confident leading a classroom of secondary-aged pupils
- Able to manage behaviour without relying on the class teacher being present
- Calm, firm and fair approach to setting expectations
- Strong communication and organisation skills
