The Role:

  • Lead high-quality learning across KS3 and KS4, delivering planned lessons when required.
  • Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention to raise attainment.
  • Support teachers with planning, differentiation and resource adaptation.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students.
  • Model excellent behaviour, engagement and classroom routines.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, Heads of Department and wider support team.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.

This HLTA role requires someone who is confident, organised, proactive and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Previous experience as a HLTA or in a similar advanced support role is essential.
