Careers Adviser – Hayes, Middlesex – January 2027 Start Are you a passionate Careers Adviser looking to help young people turn their ambitions into meaningful next steps? I'm recruiting a Careers Adviser for a specialist media and creative school in Hayes, Middlesex . With strong industry partnerships and modern facilities, this is an exciting opportunity to support students as they explore further education, university, apprenticeships and employment. Why Apply? Help young people discover opportunities in media, entertainment and the wider creative industries Work alongside colleagues who connect education with real industry experience Build relationships with employers and education providers Contribute to a careers programme that broadens students' horizons and raises aspirations Join a collaborative school community focused on student success Key Responsibilities Deliver impartial careers advice through individual appointments and group sessions Help students make informed post-16 and post-18 choices Work with the Careers Lead to develop careers education, workshops and assemblies Support applications for university, college, apprenticeships and employment Connect students with employers, training providers and meaningful careers encounters Involve parents and carers in planning students' next steps Maintain accurate guidance records and monitor aspirations, progress and destinations Provide support during results days and enrolment Person Specification I'm keen to hear from candidates who have: A Level 6 careers guidance qualification, or are working towards one Experience providing personalised, impartial guidance to young people Experience delivering careers education in a school or college Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills The ability to motivate students and help them develop achievable plans An interest in creative careers and a commitment to explaining the full range of pathways available If you enjoy helping young people recognise their potential and make confident decisions about their futures, I'd love to hear from you.
