Join the founding team of a new pre-preparatory school in Epping Forest for September 2026. An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Primary Teacher with a PE specialism to join the founding team of a brand-new pre-preparatory school for children aged 3-7. This role is ideal for a Primary PE Teacher who is passionate about early physical development, movement, coordination, confidence-building and nurturing active, joyful learners through a knowledge-rich curriculum.

As a Primary Teacher with a PE specialism, you will help shape a school built on calm classrooms, strong routines and a deep understanding of child development. You will introduce young learners to the foundations of PE through fundamental movement skills, balance, agility, teamwork, spatial awareness and early games-based learning, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured and age-appropriate within a thoughtfully designed environment.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from a Primary Teacher with a PE specialism who:

  • Holds QTS with a strong academic background (PE, Sports Science or related field preferred)
  • Has experience in EYFS/KS1 or pre-preparatory settings (essential), or is an ECT with strong academics
  • Understands early child development and the foundations of physical literacy
  • Values clarity, structure and joyful, knowledge-rich teaching
  • Is excited to help build a new school community from the ground up
