Graduate Teaching Assistant | The Role
Support students across KS3-KS5 both in and out of the classroom
Provide 1:1 and small-group academic and pastoral support
Support students with additional needs and help them access the curriculum
Provide academic support up to GCSE and A-Level
Assist with interventions and help students build confidence and independence
Work alongside teachers to support learning and student progress
Build positive relationships and act as a strong, positive role model
Graduate Teaching Assistant | What We're Looking For
A minimum 2:1 degree in any subject from a strong UK university
Strong academic background, with A*-B grades at A-Level preferred
Confident supporting students academically up to GCSE/A-Level standard
A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting SEND
Adaptable, proactive and confident in a busy school environment
Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships with students
The school is particularly keen to hear from graduates who can be positive role models, build strong relationships with students and bring energy, maturity and initiative to the role.
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break ( 6-hour working day )
Start: Immediate
