Are you an experienced Nursery Manager ready to take on a fresh challenge and lead a setting from the ground up? An exceptional opportunity has arisen within a high-performing Trust as they launch two brand-new nurseries in Bexley this September. Backed by a significant nationwide Β£45 million investment into early years provision, this expansion is focused on reducing childcare costs, supporting working families, and improving access to high-quality early education.
These new nurseries will be based within established Primary Schools, offering a unique chance to embed strong foundations for children at the very start of their education journey.
Nursery Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the new setting - from shaping the provision and leading a team, to ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding.
- Be supported by an experienced senior leadership team and benefit from strong CPD, with clear routes for progression across the Trust.
The successful candidate will bring prior leadership experience within an Early Years setting, a strong understanding of the EYFS framework, and the drive to establish a high-quality, sustainable provision from day one.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 (minimum) Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 desirable).
- Have sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Possess previous leadership or management experience within a nursery or early years setting.
