You, the Behaviour Mentor: As a confident, motivated Behaviour Mentor you will be expected to work closely with students displaying disruptive behaviour in and around class. You will be looked upon to use your personality, determination, and reason to provide them with a safe space, a mentor, and a firm-but-fair friend for them to utilise to get their education back on track. Get to the root of their behaviour, liaise with and take advice from SLT/SENCo colleagues, and lead 1:1 sessions with the students in question to ensure they are fully supported and their behaviour improves!
