What the Role Involves:

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a named pupil with additional needs throughout the full school day
  • Implementing strategies outlined in the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan under SENDCO guidance
  • Supporting the pupil to access the curriculum, engage with peers, and participate positively in school life
  • Maintaining accurate records of the pupil's progress and wellbeing and feeding back to the class teacher and SENDCO
  • Building a consistent, trusted, and nurturing relationship with the pupil and their family throughout the year

What the School is Looking For:

  • The ideal 1:1 Support Assistant will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university.
  • Previous experience supporting children with additional needs in a UK school or educational setting is highly valued.
  • The school is seeking a patient, warm, and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to making a meaningful difference to one child's educational experience.

Salary and Contract Info:

  • £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
