As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, provide dedicated support for a pupil with SEND, helping them access learning and achieve personal targets. The 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will adapt resources, implement support strategies and promote independence both inside and outside the classroom. Approximately 22% of pupils receive SEN Support, while the school also hosts a specialist Speech, Language and Communication provision.

The successful 1:1 Learning Support Assistant will ideally hold a Psychology degree or a related subject and have a genuine interest in SEND. Previous experience supporting children or young people with autism, speech and language needs or SEMH needs is highly desirable.
