Job Summary: Ribbon Communications is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Leader to lead and expand our business operations in the UKI and Nordics Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Networking technologies to include IP Routing, Optical Transport, and/or Advanced Voice Communications, with a proven track record in sales, business development, and team leadership. The Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for driving market growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue targets. This role will report to the Head of EMEA Sales. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for Ribbon Communications in the region. Identify market opportunities and define the strategic direction to maximize growth and market share in IP Routing, Optical Transport, and Advanced Voice technologies. Lead market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in IP Routing, Optical, and Voice Communication sectors. Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring sales targets and objectives are met or exceeded. Ideal candidate will have a track record of funnel management along with consistently managing forecast accuracy. Collaborate with the global sales and marketing teams to align strategies and leverage resources. Customer Relationship Management: Have strong customer connections as well as understanding of the region (UKI and Nordics). Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs, providing timely solutions, and building strong, long-term relationships. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and guidance on IP Routing, Optical, and Voice solutions. Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing local team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the local offices, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer support, to deliver seamless solutions to customers. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or general management within the telecommunications or technology industry. Proven sales track record in IP Routing, Optical Transport, and/or Advanced Voice Technologies. Previous experience in a leadership role, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams. Experience in the regional market (UKI and Nordics) is mandatory. Living inside the described Territory is mandatory. Skills: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English – must. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
