Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking an experienced and motivated finance professional to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant public sector transformations in a generation. As LGR Programme Finance Lead, you will support the delivery of all finance related workstreams associated with Local Government Reorganisation, working towards the creation of a new unitary authority by April 2028.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Services and working closely with the s151 Officer, Programme Manager and partner councils. We are looking for a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent through experience) with strong local government finance experience. You will have excellent analytical skills, be able to build effective working relationships quickly and engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also be confident presenting complex financial information and be able to work collaboratively in a fast paced, evolving environment.
