Pay: SO2 (scp 29-32) £39,862 to £42,839 per annum (pro rata for the part time post)
Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week; Part Time 18.5 hours per week (Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday)
We are looking to appoint two Building Control Surveyors (one full-time, one part-time) to join our Building Control Team.
Responsibilities
The post holders will work in a picturesque rural Borough and help to ensure new buildings, alterations, installations and extensions meet the regulatory standards of safety, sustainability, accessibility and design.
Qualifications
You will be registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Class 2a (minimum) Building Inspector and have a relevant degree, membership of an appropriate professional Institute (RICS or CABE) and a minimum 2 years’ experience in a Building Control section. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
