Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking an experienced and motivated finance professional to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant public sector transformations in a generation.
As LGR Programme Finance Lead, you will support the delivery of all finance related workstreams associated with Local Government Reorganisation, working towards the creation of a new unitary authority by April 2028. You will report to the Head of Financial Services and work closely with the s151 Officer, Programme Manager and partner councils.
Responsibilities:- Support delivery of finance workstreams in the LGR Programme.
- Report to the Head of Financial Services and liaise with the s151 Officer, Programme Manager and partner councils.
- CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent through experience) with strong local government finance experience.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, evolving environment.
