You will deliver a comprehensive refuse and recycling service for the Council, whilst ensuring the safe and effective completion of collection rounds across the service.
Responsibilities
- Be physically capable of repeated and frequent entries and exits of the cab of refuse collection and other vehicles, carrying and lifting materials and paper sacks, and working outdoors in all conditions.
- Team leader for the crew.
- Supervise the collection of waste and subsequent tipping.
- Responsible for daily vehicle defect checks.
- Work as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Category C driving licence with previous LGV driving experience.
- Current Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
