The predicted salary is between 26403 - 26824 £ per year.
Based in the Amenity Cleansing Section at Council’s Salthill Depot in Clitheroe, you will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring that roads, footpaths, verges and open spaces are kept clean. Picking up litter and sweeping streets, you will utilise equipment consistent with Street Cleansing requirements and ensure that all activities comply with the Council’s Health and Safety policy and the Safety at Street Works Code of Practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up litter and sweep streets across the depot area.
- Use suitable equipment following Street Cleansing requirements.
- Comply with the Council’s Health and Safety policy and the Safety at Street Works Code of Practice.
- Work overtime on a rota basis – Saturday and Sunday on 1 in 3 weekends, with weekend hours 6 am onwards for 2.5 hrs on Saturday and 3 hrs on Sunday.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full driving licence with categories B and B1.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime on a rota basis.
- Knowledge of the area is desirable.
