Ribble Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager or Deputy Manager to lead a newly established children’s residential home. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a home, embedding a strong culture of safeguarding, high standards, and child-centred care.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the service, recruiting and developing a skilled team, and creating a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment where children and young people can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Ofsted registration process and maintain ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the home meets the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Provide strong, values-led leadership, supervision, and development for staff
  • Promote positive behaviour support and trauma-informed care
  • Ensure robust safeguarding and safer recruitment practices are embedded
  • Build positive professional relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders
  • Confidently lead the home through Ofsted inspections, driving continuous improvement
About You

You will:

  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or working towards
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting within the last 5 years
  • Have experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, regulations, and inspection requirements
  • Be confident in opening and developing a new service
  • Be resilient, child-focused, and committed to achieving positive outcomes
