Ribble Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Intensive Case Manager to join a well-established organisation delivering innovative interventions within domestic abuse services. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work within a multi-agency, high-impact programme focused on reducing harm and driving meaningful behavioural change.
The Role
As an Intensive Case Manager, you will work directly with high-risk, high-harm perpetrators of domestic abuse, supporting long-term behaviour change while prioritising the safety of victims and families. You will:
- Manage a caseload of high-risk individuals
- Deliver one-to-one interventions to challenge and change behaviour
- Develop coordinated, multi-agency risk management plans
- Work closely with partner agencies including safeguarding teams and specialist services
- Contribute to disruption strategies where direct engagement is not possible
- Support improved outcomes for victims through collaborative working
This role combines direct intervention, safeguarding, and partnership working, making it ideal for experienced professionals in complex case management environments.
Working Pattern
- Full-time positions (37 hours per week)
- Flexible working options available (including hybrid working)
- Service operates between 9am–9pm
- Up to two evenings per week required (time back provided)

Multi-Agency Working
- Collaborate with safeguarding, criminal justice, and support services
- Act as a key point of contact across partner organisations
- Contribute to multi-agency risk management and safeguarding processes
Case Management & Safeguarding
- Manage a complex caseload of high-risk cases
- Maintain accurate and compliant case records
- Participate in case reviews, supervision, and service development
About you
Essential Experience
- Working with vulnerable or high-risk individuals
- Experience within safeguarding or public protection settings
- Managing complex cases and risk
- Multi-agency working experience
- Strong report writing and communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Domestic abuse (victims or perpetrators)
- Complex needs, mental health, or substance misuse
- Working with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks (e.g. MARAC, MAPPA)
