An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Architect to join a well-established and design-led architectural practice in Sheffield. With a strong portfolio spanning education, healthcare, industrial, civic and workplace projects, the practice is recognised for combining thoughtful design with robust technical delivery.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in delivering complex projects, managing teams and coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the design and construction process. Working within a supportive and collaborative studio, this position offers the opportunity to take ownership of significant schemes, contribute to the continued growth of the practice and mentor less experienced team members.

- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of architectural projects across all RIBA work stages, from initial feasibility and concept through to completion
- Lead projects typically ranging in value from £3m-£10m
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and external stakeholders
- Develop and oversee detailed design, technical information and construction documentation
- Lead client presentations, design reviews, site meetings and project coordination sessions
- Manage project programmes, budgets and quality standards to ensure successful delivery
- Provide technical and design leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior members of the architectural team
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the practice, its design standards and project delivery processes
- ARB-registered Architect with several years of post-Part 3 experience
- Strong experience leading projects independently from feasibility through to completion
- Proven experience delivering projects within the education, healthcare or industrial/manufacturing sectors
- Demonstrable experience managing projects in the region of £3m-£10m in value
- Excellent technical knowledge and a strong understanding of current UK Building Regulations and construction standards
- Confident coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project information
- Revit experience is desirable
- Strong client-facing, communication and organisational skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, programmes and project requirements
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership and make informed project decisions
- Passionate about delivering well-designed, technically sound architecture and contributing positively to a design-led practice
