This role will lead the delivery of a new Finance solution (MS Business Central) as part of a broader technology transformation, replacing legacy systems and helping to create more efficient, streamlined financial processes across the organisation. Acting as the main link between Finance stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams, you’ll help shape the solution from discovery through to implementation, ensuring it meets business needs, supports user adoption and the adoption of best-in-class processes and delivers long-term value for RIBA.
What are we looking for?

- Experience and demonstrable expertise in implementing MS Business Central (or similar system) in organisations of similar size and complexity.
- Experience in developing and implementing best in class processes within MS Business Central (or similar system) in an SME environment.
- A strong understanding of Finance and associated Payroll processes and best practice and the ability to guide the business in translating these into functional and non‑functional requirements which will drive new ways of working.
- Exceptional communications skills, able to work closely with key stakeholders, lead the discussion on potential solutions and gain consensus on solution design decisions.
- The ability to quickly assimilate the current RIBA Finance policies and processes, and the ability to adapt these to suit a new platform and future practices.
- Experience supporting change management and user adoption activities.
- Understanding of data governance and data attributes.
- Desirable
- A Systems Accountant with experience in configuring and managing ERP platforms.
- Experience of implementation where integration of MS Business Central (or similar system) with MS Dynamics CRM has been a programme requirement.
- Experience of writing high quality user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience of workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Understanding of Project delivery methods (e.g. Scrum, Prince 2) and experience of working with delivery tools such as Azure DevOps/Jira or similar.
