Salary: c£65,000 - 70,000 per annum

Location: London or Liverpool/Hybrid working or remote/home-based

Hours: 35 hours per week. Permanent role.

About the Role

Are you a strategic thinker who can lead a small, dedicated team to deliver clear objectives whilst maintaining excellent relationships to support broader RIBA strategy?

RIBA requires a senior level advocate to lead on the development and delivery of the RIBA Part 3 and associated services, overseeing delivery in the UK and leading on delivery globally. The Part 3 Programme forms part of our strategic approach to professional studies for architectural graduates leading to professional registration and membership. Ongoing changes within architecture education provide the need for this role to research and evaluate opportunities for further expansion as well as continuing to provide programme ownership for a substantial income stream.

Including travel, this is a significant opportunity to represent RIBA on an international stage.

What are we looking for?

Essential:

• A qualified architect with experience in professional education.
• The role requires an extensive knowledge of RIBA/ARB Part 3 Criteria, current and future developments in architectural education and practice, and eligibility for entry on to the courses, ARB registration and RIBA membership.
• A detailed knowledge of international architectural education, practice and willingness to travel.
• An ability to represent the RIBA effectively at all levels both in the UK and overseas.
• An ability to research and evaluate future opportunities and development of the existing provision of professional education programmes and service.

Desirable:

• Experience of managing a range of stakeholders, internal and external.
• Experience of financial management including setting budgets and regular monitoring procedures required to lead a programme with a turnover in excess of £1.2m.
