Location: Liverpool/Hybrid

Hours: 35 hours per week, full time, permanent contract

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised professional to manage and develop RIBA’s professional learning and development programmes. This role covers planning, delivering, and improving live and in-person learning events. You will oversee product development, manage budgets and contracts, track performance, and ensure high-quality learner experiences. The role also involves reporting on programme impact, learner satisfaction, and building strong relationships with internal teams, sponsors, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall learning programme plan, including live and hybrid courses, ensuring alignment with learning content team, production team, and SME guidance.
  • Maintain and improve product development templates, track roadmaps, timelines, proposals, and contribute to cross-team discussions on feasibility and resourcing.
  • Manage financial processes, contracts, resource planning, and P&L creation for new product developments.
  • Support planning, logistics, and delivery of professional learning events, ensuring operational best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, reporting performance, quality, and learner satisfaction, and lead quarterly programme reviews.
  • Act as key liaison with key partners, NBS Hubexo, Corporate Membership teams, and other internal stakeholders, providing reports and managing relationships.
  • Role model RIBA values and undertake additional tasks as directed by the line manager.

What are we looking for?

Essential

  • Demonstrated ability to run operational, events, or programme delivery functions within a learning-oriented or membership-based organisation.
  • Expertise in planning and executing live, hybrid, and webinar-based learning events, including logistics and resourcing.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, contracts, and some P&L responsibility for product development initiatives.
  • Strong organisational and project-management capability, with consistent attention to detail and composure under pressure.
  • Skilled at stakeholder engagement and relationship management, with a clear focus on quality, continuous improvement, and the learner experience.

Desirable

  • Experience supervising or developing direct reports in a delivery-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with the architecture or built-environment sector and its professional learning landscape.
  • Experience of producing impact or performance reports.
  • Understanding of how cross-team operational functions integrate across content, design, production, and external partners.
