We are seeking a motivated and engaged Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our Sheffield studio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all our sectors, on a variety of interesting schemes on a national scale. You will support the delivery of projects from early concept through to technical design, contributing creatively and technically while developing your professional experience towards Part 3 qualification.

Qualities & Skills Required

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong design sensibility with a good understanding of UK planning and building regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant software (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities / Deliverables

  • Assist in the development of design proposals from concept to detailed design
  • Produce high-quality drawings, visuals, and presentation material
  • Support planning applications, design and access statements, and reports
  • Assist with technical drawings and information package
  • Carry out site visits and assist with contract administration tasks
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Participate in internal design reviews and client meetings
  • Help maintain organised project documentation and drawing registers
