Overview
Peak Architects are seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team in Sheffield.
We are a growing and award-winning architectural practice. We pride ourselves on delivering an outstanding service to our clients combined with innovative forward-thinking designs. Our collaborative studio environment offers hands-on involvement across all RIBA stages.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will provide high calibre technical support and expertise to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The role is perfect for someone who is technically minded and an absolute Revit pro who is looking to gain a wide range of experience working across multiple projects in varying sectors.
Required skills:
- An understanding of the design process and ability to manage/deliver this from concept to completion
- Flexibility and openness of approach and willingness to work as a team player
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbally and drawing
- Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team
- Strong Revit skills and a working knowledge of presentation tools such as Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Building Systems, Regulations and construction types
Desirable:
- Experience working in a small or medium-sized practice.
- Understanding of sustainable design principles and low-energy construction.
