Studio 80|six is seeking a talented and committed architect to join its London studio. Studio 80|six are a recently formed practice working primarily in the design and delivery of high-end residential projects in London and overseas. Our projects comprise large new single dwellings, significant extensions and alterations, and multi‑unit developments. We are passionate about creating not just houses, but homes that reflect the personal style and vision of those who live in them, and we take pride in the high level of detail and rigour we place on each project. This is an exciting opportunity to assist in shaping the future of a new practice whilst working across all RIBA work stages.

Role Overview

As a Project Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to bring creative design solutions to life, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and documentation on a variety of architectural projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Preparation and submission of planning applications.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and other relevant standards.

Qualifications

  • ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ UK post‑qualification experience.
  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating experience across all RIBA work stages.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Experience in working with traditional JCT contracts.
  • Technically competent with strong project running skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK planning policies and Building Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident and assured in Client and Contractor facing scenarios.
  • Experience within Prime Residential sector preferred.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
