Thorp Design is a multidisciplinary studio spanning interiors, architecture, landscape and art curation. Founded by Philippa Thorp in 1985, we have discreetly set the standard for private client design for over four decades, working on some of the world’s most exceptional residences. We’re seeking an experienced Interior Architect to join our team full-time at our Sloane Street studio.

At Thorp, we design some of the world’s most exceptional private residences – guided by our company's philosophy of living in the details, bespoke design, and build well, once. We’re looking for a full‑time Interior Architect to join our Sloane Street studio and play a key role in shaping and delivering these spaces from concept to completion. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the studio. You’ll lead projects through design, technical resolution and on‑site delivery, working closely with our interiors team, consultants, artisans and contractors to bring highly bespoke environments to life. You’ll take ownership of complex, multi‑layered projects across the UK and internationally, helping to uphold and evolve Thorp’s design language, standards and craft‑led approach.

The Role:

  • Working full‑time from our Sloane Street studio, London.
  • Degree in Interior Architecture.
  • Develop architectural interior design concepts.
  • Produce detailed drawing packages including bespoke joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and interior architectural layouts.
  • Collaborate closely with our FF&E and design teams to deliver cohesive schemes.
  • Support projects through to completion with exceptional attention to detail.

We’re Looking For:

  • Design‑led, intellectually curious, and confident in their creative judgement.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within a high‑end interior design or interior architecture studio.
  • Experience delivering luxury residential and commercial projects aligned with a refined, timeless aesthetic similar to our signature style.
  • Excellent Vectorworks skills preferred, (AutoCAD or similar acceptable).
  • Strong technical knowledge and detailing experience.
  • Confident client‑facing communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced luxury studio environment.

If you are passionate about creating refined, timeless interiors and want to be part of a creative, ambitious team we would love to hear from you.

How to Apply: Please send your cover letter and portfolio (max 10MB) to careers@thorp.co.uk.
