My client is a well-established and growing architecture practice based in London and is seeking a Senior / Associate Architect with extensive healthcare experience to join their team. This is a key leadership role for an experienced Architect who is passionate about healthcare design and delivery. You will take a leading role on complex healthcare projects, including private hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust solutions.
The Role
- Leading the design and delivery of healthcare projects (including private hospitals and rehab facilities) across all RIBA stages
- Acting as a client-facing lead, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Managing and mentoring project teams, ensuring quality and consistency of output
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Contributing to project strategy, programming, and resourcing
- Upholding and promoting the values, standards, and reputation of the practice
Skills & Experience
- ARB registered Architect
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-Part 3 (PP3) experience, primarily within healthcare
- Proven experience delivering healthcare projects, ideally including private hospitals and rehabilitation facilities
- Strong client-facing experience and confident leading meetings and presentations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage workloads
- Proficient in Revit with hands-on project experience
- Highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware
- Excellent written and spoken English
