Senior Urban Designer Job in London with an award-winning, multidisciplinary design practice offering hybrid working and the opportunity to lead and shape large-scale masterplanning and regeneration projects. This established, design-led practice works across urban design, architecture, landscape and development consultancy, delivering projects from early visioning through to detailed frameworks and delivery. Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to urban design and masterplanning projects from concept through to delivery
  • Produce and oversee the preparation of frameworks, masterplans and vision documents
  • Work on suburban and urban masterplanning, town regeneration and new community projects
  • Support and guide junior team members within project teams
  • Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects and external consultants
  • Prepare high-quality graphic outputs, reports and presentations
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders and local authorities as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in urban design
  • Proven project-leading experience on masterplanning and regeneration schemes on UK projects
  • Strong design and placemaking skills with a clear understanding of UK planning context
  • Excellent graphic skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
