My client, an award-winning AJ100 architectural practice, is seeking a talented and motivated Architect / Architectural Technologist with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience to join their growing team working on bespoke private residential projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically minded individual looking to further develop their career within a highly respected, design-led practice delivering exceptional high-end residential schemes.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in residential technical detailing and a strong interest in bespoke private residential architecture. You will contribute across a range of RIBA work stages and should have a good understanding of construction detailing, UK building regulations, and project delivery processes. The role would suit someone who is confident working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ post-qualification professional experience
  • Good technical knowledge of residential construction and detailing
  • Experience contributing to projects across a range of RIBA stages
  • Understanding of UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction methods
  • Strong design and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet project deadlines
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working on bespoke or high-end residential projects
  • Working knowledge of traditional and classical architecture
  • Experience using ArchiCAD
