We are looking for ambitious and technically minded architects or architectural technicians to join our talented team based in Angel, London.
Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher are an award-winning, employee-owned Architecture Design studio; a vibrant and tenacious practice with a heritage and reputation to design and deliver high quality, sustainable designs across multiple sectors including Residential, Commercial and Mixed Use Development. We are known for our strong design ethos and encourage a supportive and collaborative practice culture.
We are looking for candidates to work alongside an experienced team of architectural assistants, architects, associates and directors. The role offers personal and professional development whilst also promoting the opportunity to take ownership and work on interesting and complex architectural projects.
This role is suited to anindividual with interest in design, technical versatility and communication skills underpinned by a professional drive to advance your architectural career through continued learning and engagement.

Role and Responsibilities
- Be an active part in the day to day running of medium and large-scale projects.
- Work alongside an Associate and other team members to deliver projects through all RIBA work stages at the highest standard.
- Take ownership of detailing and technical design development whilst demonstrating package running ability.
- Contribute creatively to design solutions through drawings, 3D models, and visuals.
- Communicate confidently with consultants and contractors and show ability to lead elements of design.
- Take initiative over your workflow to successfully complete tasks/projects.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Show an excellent level of education from a leading architecture school.
- Experience in UK residential and mixed use projects.
- Enthusiasm for the built environment and design.
- Confidence to engage with projects through all RIBA work stages with particular experience at stages 3-5.
- Experience in detailing, technical design, package running and project delivery.
- Fluent knowledge of Autodesk Revit / 3-d modelling and AutoCAD software.
- Good capability of use of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Comfortable working directly with consultants and contractors.
- Passion for collaboration and engagement with colleagues, collaborators and clients.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
