A Part II Architectural Assistant is required to join an established organisation in Richmond, working within its design and architecture team. The role will support heritage and high-end residential projects, including work involving a Grade II* listed building. You will contribute to technical packages, consultant coordination and project administration across relevant project stages.
The organisation manages a portfolio of residential properties in the UK and overseas, supported by an in-house design team. Current projects include heritage and luxury residential work, with this position focused on supporting detailed design and technical delivery. The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production of coordinated technical packages for heritage and residential projects
- Work with the design and architecture team on project requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments, external consultants and multidisciplinary design teams
- Assist with project administration and technical information
- Manage workloads independently while maintaining accuracy and organisation
- Contribute to meetings and the presentation of design proposals
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of professional UK heritage project experience
- High-end residential project experience would be beneficial
- Strong design, presentation and technical detailing skills
- Good knowledge of UK building regulations and residential technical requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
- Confident communication, organisation and independent workload management skills
