Senior Project Architect —London (Richmond)
3s Architects Studio, an award-winning, design focused German-British practice in Richmond upon Thames, is looking for an experienced, project architectto join our team in a senior position. You must be an ARB/RIBA-registered architect with at least 3 years of post-Part II experience or have completed Part III in the UK, with experience navigating RIBA stages 1-6. You should have a proven history of managing private residential and mixed-use projects, including creating detailed technical proposals with a strong focus on design and site experience. Further experience in building contract administration and evaluating tender cost returns is of advantage.
The successful candidate will work closely with the directors as project architect, contribute to other office projects or collaborate with or lead other team members. You will be responsible for all phases, from initial design development through planning approval and technical design details to implementation, including site and often contract management. We offer long-term career growth within the practice to principal level.
We specialize in high-quality contemporary residential & commercial projects, including new-build homes, mixed-use developments, major refurbishments and extensions, and listed buildings.With over a hundred completed projects in London and the UK and an expanding portfolio of international work, we take pride in designing to a high standard at every stage, from concept to completion. Our approach and work focus on innovative contemporary solutions, are authentic, and include a clear architectural concept.
Applicants should have strong technical knowledge and practical experience in architectural detailing, with a good understanding of construction. The ability to understand and resolve technical issues, particularly those encountered on site, is essential, as is the ability to translate this knowledge into clear and accurate CAD drawings.
Proficiency in Vectorworks 2D and 3D is preferred. Practical experience with Revit, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray or SketchUp would be desirable but is not essential.
