As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business growth across the UK and Ireland construction market.

Working closely with a collaborative team of Sales, Pre-Sales, and Technical Specialists, you will help customers solve real business challenges through innovative technology solutions.

You'll be empowered to develop your own pipeline, build strategic relationships, and close high-value opportunities while contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
  • Sell the RIB Cost X Complete Solution to enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Lead customer presentations, solution demonstrations, and commercial discussions.
  • Clearly articulate business value and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
  • Create and execute strategic account and territory plans.
  • Negotiate, close, and expand software agreements.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying additional opportunities and cross-selling solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets.

Essential Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience selling enterprise software or Saa S solutions.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and delivering against sales targets.
  • Strong business development, prospecting, and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
  • Fluent English communication skills (C2 level) with the ability to deliver clear, engaging presentations across phone, email, and virtual meetings.

  • Experience selling software solutions into the construction industry.
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, and other built environment organisations.
  • Demonstrated success selling to executive and CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Consultative, value-based selling experience.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of pre-construction, estimating, cost management, or project controls processes.
