Project Architect with 3+ years’ Experience - Maternity Cover

Helen Lucas Architects are looking for a Qualified ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join our team.
We are interested to hear from proactive and motivated individuals who will fit into our friendly studio in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be passionate, dedicated and hardworking and have an interest in a wide range of projects.
Our work takes us across multiple contexts, both rural and urban, throughout Scotland and beyond, and frequently engages with repurposing listed and historically sensitive buildings, and an enthusiasm for this is crucial. We work closely with our clients, so excellent communication skills are essential. Experience of working with listed buildings, conservation areas and private domestic clients, through all design stages would be beneficial.
We operate a collaborative and supportive studio with staff wellbeing at its core.
Proficiency in Vectorworks and Adobe Suite would be advantageous along with hand drawing abilities. Driving license is preferable.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. No Agency applications will be accepted.
