Architect / Experienced Part 2 Assistant

Cameron Laird Architects are seeking a talented and motivated Architect or experienced Part 2 to join the practice within our office in Edinburgh City Centre.
CLA are a small Commercial Architectural Practice operating throughout Scotland from our office in Edinburgh City Centre. Our projects range across a variety of commercial sectors and scales and cover new build developments and masterplanning to refurbishments & alterations of existing commercial buildings. Key sectors we're actively involved in include Retail, Industrial alongside Office and Workplace. We have particular extensive experience in the Process and Manufacturing sectors and are currently progressing projects with Clients across a variety of industries within the Science & Technology; Engineering & Product Manufacture; Food Production and Distillery sectors.
With exciting new project appointments and future workload in the pipeline we are seeking a talented and motivated Architect or experienced Part 2 with a minimum 3 years experience in UK based practice to join our team. Applicants with experience (or a strong interest) in retail, industrial and manufacturing / process related projects would be of particular interest.
Candidates should be commercially minded, proactive and a team player and with good knowledge and understanding of the Scottish Planning system and Non Domestic Building Regulation Standards.
Candidates should have excellent graphic, presentation and communication skills alongside good technical knowledge and understanding.
Applicants must be experienced and proficient in Autocad and Photoshop, with experience in Sketchup or other 3D modeling software beneficial but not essential.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Salary expectations will be discussed at interview.
