Scotsman Group are seeking talented Architectural Technologists to join our busy Glasgow Office. We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record of successful project delivery to a high technical standard. Scotsman Group are looking for the right individual with the talent to help design & deliver our growing workload in the hospitality, residential, and retail sectors. The successful individual(s) will require the relevant experience and talent to work within and become an integral part of our established ‘team’. We encourage involvement across projects in order to achieve the best solutions and to broaden staff experience and skillsets. Applicants should be driven with a pro-active approach.
The role will involve:
- Under the direction of directors, run projects from outline design through to completion including scheme design, detail design including production information, and involvement throughout construction phases.
- Managing the process and co-ordinating Consultants input.
- Liaising regularly and building strong relationships with our in-house contractors and the design team.
- Understanding and implementing the technical standards for Scotland regulations and liaising with local authorities.
- Working as part of a team and directing junior team members in day-to-day activities.
Key Attributes:
- Have a proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Experience co-ordinating design teams through detailed design and the construction phase.
- Strong graphic presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Experience in residential, retail, and hospitality sectors is preferred although not essential.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe suite, and Microsoft office software.
