Sinclair Watt Architects Ltd are seeking to appoint an experienced Architect to join our practice for an initial fixed-term period of one year. We are looking for a motivated and capable individual with proven experience in affordable housing projects and historic buildings. The successful candidate will play a key role within the practice, managing projects through all stages from design development to delivery on site.
Essential Requirements
- ARB registered Architect
- Experience in affordable housing projects
- Experience working with historic and listed buildings
- Proven job running and project management experience
- Ability to manage projects independently and liaise confidently with clients, consultants and contractors
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard software
Desirable
- Experience working within Scotland’s planning and building standards environment
- Strong contract administration skills
