Sinclair Watt Architects Ltd are seeking to appoint an experienced Architect to join our practice for an initial fixed-term period of one year. We are looking for a motivated and capable individual with proven experience in affordable housing projects and historic buildings. The successful candidate will play a key role within the practice, managing projects through all stages from design development to delivery on site.

Essential Requirements

  • ARB registered Architect
  • Experience in affordable housing projects
  • Experience working with historic and listed buildings
  • Proven job running and project management experience
  • Ability to manage projects independently and liaise confidently with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software

Desirable

  • Experience working within Scotland’s planning and building standards environment
  • Strong contract administration skills
