The successful individual will be a dedicated and results-driven Architectural Technician with a minimum of 3 years practical project experience in a variety of sectors. Strong leadership management skills, coupled with a decisive problem-solving ability, are required.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of our team to:
- Develop initial scheme design
- Prepare Planning Submission drawings
- Create coordinated drawing packages
- Handle Building Warrant submissions
- Conduct site visits
Responsibilities:
- Design development from feasibility and concept through to detailed proposals
- Strong technical ability and able to produce technical design and production information through RIBA Stages 3-5
- Coordination with consultants, specialists, and contractors
- Good communication skills and ability to work with external consultants and clients
- Site visits, inspections, and support during construction
Responsibilities will evolve in line with your experience, interests, and strengths.
Qualifications:
- Motivated and eager to succeed within their profession
- Comfortable at preparing drawings for Planning or Building Warrant Submissions
- Good technical skills and knowledge that can be developed within the practice
- Proactive and willing to take on responsibilities
- Fluent in AutoCAD and/or REVIT
- Sketchup Pro/Enscape rendering experience would be beneficial
- Knowledge of NBS Spec Writing
